Conakry Guinea Hilton Hotel

Hilton has opened its first Hilton flagship hotel in Conakry, Guinea, making it the first Hilton hotel in the world in Africa. The new Hilton is located 10 minutes from Port Moresby Airport and will be open to the public in autumn 2015, with an opening date of 1 October 2016.

The Kutubu Convention Centre consists of six small halls that can be joined for parties of up to 800 people. The Executive Lounge is located on the top floor of the hotel, where breakfast and snacks, drinks and appetizers are served throughout the day. Executive guests also have access to Summit's whisky bar, which also serves a selection of cocktails, wine and beer, as well as a variety of food and beverages.

In the lobby you will find a copper café, which also offers deli snacks and light meals. In the foyer of the convention center, Halo will serve snacks such as sandwiches and wraps to busy conference attendees.

The $400 million two-stage development is the result of a PNG government-controlled entity that will also manage the new Hilton and adjacent convention centre.
